Path Deform Modifier

This modifier makes the target geometry conform to the shape of a given path or curve. This can make animating a complex mesh very easy by only having to manipulate the path which may only be a few control vertices as opposed to altering possibly 100s or using other methods such as bones.

Simply choose the geometry you wish to deform, and pick the path that you want it to conform to. Stretch determines how much of the total path the object should occupy. Percent sets where along the path the shape should begin, this can be animated so to make the object appear to be following the path.
