Poly Select Modifier

Poly select lets you add a sub object selection on to the stack together with any other modifiers you may have applied. A broader range of options are available more than Edit Poly.

It is similar to the other selection modifiers, you can select all elements of the object such as vertices and polygons. You can also make selections and save them for later use or apply to other duplicates of the same object.
